Yep, it's a trem bar.
Used it when upgrading my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster stock tremolo to a Fender AM Vintage one. It fits perfectly, and looks good. Just don't really get why it doesn't come with the tip, and why so much of Fender parts are so expensive. I got it because I had a voucher, and was certain that it would fit my tremolo, but honestly I'd prefer some other after market option if I was looking to do this again. It's just an L-shaped metal bar with a slight angle in the middle.
But hey, it works just fine, and the it's chrome matches the tremolo system, so I'm a happy camper.

Fits perfecty into the AM Vintage tremolo unit (bought here on the website), does not fall off or make scraping noises and it fits snugly into its collet. Looks like I won't be needing to buy another one from Staytrem
