From reading reviews the problem with the pickups seems to be a regular one, One pickup was open circuit, don't know what caused the fault but they are all now back with Thomann. It's easy to check the pickups a meter across the back. Cannot comment on the sound l haven't got that far yet!
I really do not know why l continually return to Fender products l am always disappointed.
