Best Balance of Bendiness and Tone

I prefer the tones of a set of 10s but my fingers are not very strong, so this set that gives me what you gte from a set of 10s on the lighter strongs but 9s on the heavier strongs works really well for me. Definitely recommended if you want the tone of 10s but the bendiness of 9s!

Viele Jahre gab es von Fender einen Pure Nickel Saitensatz mit genau diesen Stärken. Bis dann der Wahn zu immer dickeren Saiten aufkam und diese Abstufung einfach verschwand.
Glücklicherweise haben wir nun eine Neuauflage. Denn es gibt so einige bekannte Grössen der Gitarrengeschichte, die genau diese Abstufung gespielt haben. Und das wohl aus gutem Grund und vielleicht auch, weil es kaum was anderes gab. Die Saiten sind sehr ausgewogen in der Lautstärke und es fehlt kein Quäntchen Bassanteil.
Der Sound klingt erheblich aufgeräumter über alte kleine Vintage-Amps mit 10er Speaker und das Spielgefühl ist ausgeglichener über die Saiten hinweg.
Bendings auf den tieferen Saiten gehen nun auch auf einmal leichter von der Hand und der gesamte Kraftaufwand ist erheblich reduziert.
Darauf habe ich lange gewartet.
Ich kann nur sagen - einfach mal ausprobieren.
Das Gesagte gilt für alle Sets aus der Hendrix Serie egal ob Plated oder Pure Nickel. Wobei mir die Pure Nickel doch noch ein wenig besser gefallen - besonders an höhenlastigen Amps.
