I love these ones
I love these little bold monsters. Great spectrum, nice feeling. Has a little bit "hiss" but not that much. Translates well to other systems. You may need a subwoofer for freq. below 40Hz but can easily be overcome with headphones.

FOCAL Alpha 50 Evo.
My Alpha 50s are only 2 months old. So far, Im loving them. The sound covers top mid & bottom evenly, even in my 'mini' studio. I have 2 small complaints though! The Alpha takes approx 2to4 seconds before the red Led changes to green which is longer than any other speakers I have owned. I like the overall design but the red/green Led could have been a bit more creative. Instead of a green Led it could have been a blue Led. & the Led could have been placed in the O of FOCAL! just an idea.

Yes, these are amazing.
I've had these for several months now and I'm profoundly impressed.
I'm a DJ/Producer with a focused project studio in a Berlin apartment so I had to really do my homework in regards to the sound pollution.
They look stunning and provide me with very accurate near field monitoring. If the music sounds bad these will sound bad. Bad mixes will not escape these bad boys.
I produce UK Garage and Jungle The bass is More than sufficient, OK you don't get the ultra low freqs but you can hear them but without the weight.
U have only turned these up to near maximum sound level and I got complaints the stories up from excessive bass vibrations.
They are one of my fave monitors ever and I've been in the trade for 40 years. Give them a audition if you need a good quality small monitor.
Very, very recommended.

I love Focal
I'm a huge fan of Focal but I would love to get older version of Focal alpha. In terms of sound quality, it's very very good. Go for these and you're gonna love it.

Haven't Found A Better Speakers For The Price, Value & Features
For its price, built, quality and options, 5 stars all the way. When I say options, it will be mainly to tweak the Highs and Lows just enough for all human ear types to have long critical listening sessions without fatigue. In order to get the best, do the H&L adjustments and positioning till you get the best soundstage with equal balance. It also has one of the best soundstage. I have tried many speakers to find the best critical listening midrange performance and a better rolled off with lows and these speakers tops it. Pls note you need to have a sub if you want a more pronounced lows. You just cannot go wrong with these speakers in any genre, seriously. To me it's the best. High quality tweeters & woofers. Also, it has a stand-by mode. My best description is Very Expensive Sounding Speakers that is remarkably affordable. Including the 65s & 80s. Have impressed many sound engineers and producers to get a pair. Cheers!

Fantastic Monitors
These studio monitors give an incredibly flat response across the spectrum. The lowhigh frequency shelf knobs also allow you to tune the monitors for your specific room.

great home studio monitors!
I’ve been using the Focal Alpha 50 Evo for a few months now in my acoustically treated home studio, and I am genuinely impressed. The standout feature for me is the 3D stereo imaging; the soundstage is far more precise and immersive than I ever expected.
Since I work in a relatively small room (around 10sqm), the front-firing bass reflex is a lifesaver for placement, and opting for the 5-inch version was definitely the right call. The low end is tight and articulate without being overwhelming, which might have been an issue with a larger woofer in this space.
The midrange clarity is exceptional, allowing for "surgical" precision when EQing and identifying problematic frequencies. Furthermore, the high end is smooth and detailed; despite spending countless hours listening to music to get familiar with them, I haven't experienced any ear fatigue. I highly recommend these monitors to anyone looking for a reliable, professional tool for their studio.
