Love it, it's just larger than I thought which is even better, perfect for a big cup of tea or a good cappuccino. The matte finish is indeed very classy and the object looks really smart - not too fanboy-ish.
Only downside, the good looking matte finish is however very fragile, any scratch with a piece of cutlery or sharp end will leave a mark. The mug might not keep it's brand new appearance for long...

no matter how many times you wash it, it does not fade and you do not wear out over time .. excellent work from gibson of course!

I has a small unglazed spot inside
I didnt notice this until after several weeks.
I love the cup, just wish I'd checked the glaze inside and out before using.

A Gibson Mug that rocks!
The intonation, feel and sound are all fantastic from this black Gibson mug! it even holds liquid!...it makes my coffee and music practice in the mornings much better.
