Sometimes it's more than a word.
Yes, sometimes you see the diference between cheap plastic and branded plastic. These gibson knobs have very good quality compared to the ones i find in cheap guitars. The paint is interior and does not come off. The knob does not get loose over the time. And it's not that expensive. I'd buy another set of these, if i have to.

The right parts for the right instrument
I bought these knobs for a Gibson Ripper which I am restoring. There's not much to tell - they arrived shrink wrapped to a cardboard back, no frills or fuss, they fit properly to USA pots, they look just right compared to older knobs - just what was needed.

Only for split threads
These look great and are well built, but if you have solid threads (the metal bit you attach the knob to, then they will not work, and they will split! Its a shame as I wish they did some with grommet screws to fit onto my bass.

Good knobs!
Yes, they are plastic. They look ok. They work. I mean, not much can go wrong with product like this. I choose these to my flying V Gibson since Hammett model has similar knobs.
