top nut
I bought this as a replacement nut for my Vintage LP V100 as i had an ill fitting cheapo on there from when my stock one broke that i absolutely ruined when filling down . I looked at a few Youtube videos before fitting this as it would need some alteration and had to work out how much to take off and from where without bodging it using a steel ruler on the frets . I filed it down making sure to keep it square but always took it from the base checking and rechecking offering it up until i reached the desired string height patience is required here a smidge of the sides and perfect any fine adjustment can be taken out from the grooves but i never touched them .Remember you don't use Super glue here you may want to get it back off at some point without taking half the headstock with it anything will do i used UHU .Perfect material and improved sound would definately buy again looks good aswell .Thomann amazes me it's a one stop shop for everything you need great service as usual.

for harley benton hb35 plus
i purchased this for my hb 35 , es335 style guitar. fitted well in to the hole . except little excesses from edges. may need some sanding that parts. soundwise better sustain was immediate

Perfect fit for DIY SC kit
Amazing fit and quality, had no time to install myself but all was where it should and fitting perfectly with but minor adjustments.
All guitars should come with these, I mean 10 EU more are not going to be a deal breaker if you are investing in a normal to nicer guitar, right?
Noticed already a great difference only when tuning the guitar in combination with Knuson 3+3 tuners...need to play more but seems to be exactly what was needed to keep all nicely tuned and held in place.

Very good helper !
I had a Epiphone Casino and I had some problems with slotting etc..And bought this and installed effortlessly and it made big improvement over buzzing and intonation problems ! Very good nut !

A nut that never goes wrong!
I think it's really a marketing strategy from the guitar manufacturers to install bad quality nuts from the factory to let the people buy and upgrade their guitar nuts. But I did not regret getting one, this is not that expensive for a good quality upgrade. I used this for my Epiphone Les Paul Custom, but it needed some sanding not only at the bottom but also on the side. You just have to be careful when sanding and once you get the correct fitting, it really helps with the tuning stability of your guitars, and also the tones are more pronounce. It is an upgrade that is necessary.

Perfect tone
This replaced my hb cst 24 nut that came along with it. I had problems before with tuning stability, wouldn't stay in tune for 5 minutes of playing with the old nut. So i unglue it and sand it down to match the old one. After about half an hour i had it installed. There was a tiny problem with the g string afterwards that was ringing but a bit of sanding (slightly) in the edge (towards the fretboard) with a D string fixed the problem.
Now tuning problems are gone and the tone is much more open and pleasant.

Perfectly slotted
Does its job, well slotted and you only need to sand the bottom until you reach the desired measurements.
Not a big fan of the black letters on the back of the nut saying "TUSQ XL", but I understand the purpose from a marketing perspective.
