Perfect upgrade

These are really excellent machine heads, but the use of different ratios puts them apart from anything else. Tuning is rapid, precise and stable. I won't fit anything else now (unless a vintage look is more important than function). Fitting is under 15 mins and very simple.
Note: If you want to fit them on a Fender with a 2-pin fitting, you'll need a plate, part no. PRT-952-201, Thomann can obtain it by special order, about £14. Shame they don't stock them. Other styles of plate are included.

Nice tuners, they do what they're supposed to be doing and they do it well. Honestly I don't see a real difference with different ratios so that's not a real reason to buy them.

I do have a problem with installation though - there are all types plates for installation with the exception of Fender standard ones, you need to buy it for extra 15 EUR or so which doesn't make any sense. I assume 6-in-line configuration is going to be typically used on Fenders so I don't see a reason why not to include it for slightly higher price.

And in case if you're wondering - these tuners DON'T fit into vintage spec, they're wider so you'll have to drill a bit and the plates for that type of headstock are also missing.

These are quality items. Wanted set of locking tuners to fit my G&L Tribute ASAT Classic with no modifications and they were perfect. Just cost hurts a bit but again these are hard to source in UK for price Thomann charge.

the tuners are really good but had some troubles installing them.
i did it in a mim strat and theres no adapter included for the 2 hole stlyle fender tuners, so you have to do some screwwing... Also, the only equipment flaw i had besides the lack of adapter that by the way exits in the graphtech site, was the srew bad quality. they simply arent good enough and break easy... be aware. i have a headless screw stuck in the wood.

Great upgrade choice

This particular product was recommended to me for a Squire Standard Strat upgrade, because it fits into the somewhat smaller radius headstock holes. The installation was easy; the setting up even easier; the improvement in tuning stability enormous! Love the different ratios for individual strings, because it enables more precission and the same feel regardless of the string gauge. Highly recommended!

Soooo Precise tuning!!!

Super built quality, ultra precise tuning.
Only issue is if you need the mounting plates, which are not the best fit.

Great drop in tuners replacement
