Harley Benton Fusion-III HH FR Roasted FCH

This Guitar the Harley Benton Fusion-III HH FR Roasted FCH has a fit and finish worth the price, but due to pricing I think some features are a bit lacking, as the pickups are thin and underpowered making the instrument sound thin and lacking in presence and the tone control has some noise in it. The neck is very playable and feels comfortable moving up and down the neck due to the finish which is flat. I do have an issue with the truss rod adjusting the roasted neck though. The neck is quite stiff due to the hardness of the wood making the adjustments very small regardless of the amount of turning on the truss rod nut. After having ordered this with a roasted neck I would rather have a non-roasted neck. I have tried to adjust the truss rod because of the height of the strings is too high at the upper fretboard, but the neck is too stiff to move very much. After some relief of the neck the lower frets ring on the strings. So I've been able to find a medium adjustment which is acceptable, albeit not optimal. I feel obligated to give an assessment of this gear for the next customer looking to get a guitar that is worth paying for. This guitar is beautiful to look at and it plays very, very well. The emphasis on this guitar seems to be the total package, but the electronics do suffer. It has a fine looking maple top with crisp looking details all around. The clear coat is flawless under close inspection. This company is noteworthy having a process that makes fine looking guitars. I would venture to say putting very nice pickups in this guitar and having a slightly straighter neck, this would be my favorite guitar and I have several very nice, very expensive guitars.
