Thomann says, "Expect poor quality." They are right!
After about a week of playing, my HB-35 developed cracks in the binding on both sides of the fretboard. I asked Thomann to fix it or to replace the guitar, but they responded that I should not worry, that this cracking was common in their "mass produced" guitars, and that it is unreasonable to expect binding without cracks in a guitar that costs less than a $3000 Gibson. Holy smokes! So much for customer care. But it is a good admission from Thomann and Harley Benton: if you want inexpensive, expect flaws. Translation from German: Too bad for you, customers in the United States.
