Pack Of Awesomeness
Arthouros 25.09.2022
Ordered this strings by just like "ah, it will be some cheapy strings, for my second *training guitar*, that don't be regret to play as hard as i want to, and after a couple of weeks it will be throwed in trash", but, god, how i was wrong... Sound incredibly clearly and glassy, just like my modern 35$ strings, that i recieved for a New Year as a gift from my collegues and i was playing on my main guitar baby. Now I play on my *training guitar* way often that on main and i'm gonna order a bunch of these strings, cause it's real gamechanger for a less then 3 dollars! My strong recommendations. Order it immediatly!

Great strings for the price
_LewisGoose 20.06.2022
I bought these strings to use as back ups for when gigging and in the studio but thought I’d give them a try to see how they compare to my normal strings. I usually use Dadarrio NYXL strings. I had 2 guitars with the same scale length, one with these and one with the NYXL strings, I can honestly say there isn’t a huge difference between the two, but it is noticeable. Tuning stability is stronger on the NYXL strings, although that could just be that the Harley Benton’s take longer to stretch in, and the NYXL strings are slightly brighter.

Overall both sets of strings are great and these would definitely be a great choice for anyone. They will now always be my back up strings instead of Ernie Ball’s

very good strings

very good strings, i can't tell the difference between these and the ernie ball set, i guess the ernie ball are a bit more durable but in terms of sound there is no difference for me

LW
Unfortunately worse than the regular Valuestrings
Louis W 09.07.2023
Within a week of relatively heavy playing (playing a lot, but with a light touch), these strings go bright orange. They don't sound any different, but the coating has been decimated and look like they're rusting.

Bearing in mind that I've never had a set of Valuestrings snap, I have found a weird phenomenon with these Quality Series. The High E, for some reason, constantly breaks at the ball end. Completely unties itself from the ball and pulls through the bridge after a session of blues bends. Genuinely makes me terrified to play these strings on a gig because I know for a fact they'll snap if I'm taking a few solos.

Rather ironically I'll be sticking with the Valuestrings that are half the cost but significantly more durable.

As always, if you can afford the brand name, get them - IMO nothing beats the value of regular slinkys, but the Valuestrings are a GREAT replacement considering you can get 3 packs for the price of 1 set of Ernie Balls. Just don't buy these ones.

A false economy
TomGoss 21.05.2023
These start off fine and seem like good quality strings. They don't feel cheap.
But very, very soon you will have black fingertips and the strings have become 'old'...dull and coppery looking.
To be worth using you'll need to change these often, so just get better strings that don't need to be changed so often, nor blacken your fingertips. You'll be better off in the long run.

Harley benton HQS EL 10-46, 3$ strings that want to be 6$ strings, but they're more like 1$ strings.
RockBusker 14.07.2023
I bought 1 pack of these just to check out if HB can offer good quality with lesser price like they do with guitars and i was shockingly disappointed. First string broke when i tried to put on my guitar. After tuning i always stretch fresh strings a little so they stay in tune better. So 1st string broke before i even played on it. Strings completely lost their brightness after 2 days of playing which is not okay even for a 3$ strings i think. 6$ strings for example can stay bright for up to 10-14 days of playing guitar. And the last thing, 4th string broke 3 days after i installed it, right in the middle of my street performace. Of course that happens sometimes, but 6$ pack used to server me MUUUUUCH longer. Afer strings lost their brightness i also found out that my guitar sound different, less volume and also sound lost like A LOT of highs so i cant even break throught mix, which never happened to me with this guitar and with any other old strings (assuming i always use the same gear) In consclusion i'd like to say you are better off buying any 6$+ pack, they'll server you much more, or buy elixirs they can serve you a dozens times more.

Realy good for the money
Brada992 06.04.2023
These strings are realy good for someone who changes strings often, they dont have a long life. But for the money you can afford to change them more often and the feel and sound i dont notice the difference compared to the higher name brands

Great Value
geehtar 12.03.2024
To be honest, i was expecting these strings to be of a lower quality. I was expecting them to be a bit grippy dull-sounding, maybe inconsistent in thickness. But they're absolutely fine. On par with Slinky.
Restrung 3 guitars with these. One of those had elixirs on it. Those were a bit better but not 15 euros better. These are fine strings.
