For MOST doublecuts
Thought that the DC being a copy of a ESP Viper rather than an SG and this case made for the DC - I shouldn't have any issues, but it turns out that the disclaimer is true.
Don't buy this case for your ESP/LTD Vipers if you don't want to do some work in order to fit them.
Otherwise, a standard soft case - will do more than a gigbag, but less than a real case (but won't break your back), so it sits right in the middle. Portability-wise, it goes the other way round - my VIper is top-heavy, and this case counters it making it bottom-heavy and not so pleasant to carry around.

Strong, good materials.
Not much to say here bought this along with my Epiphone Sg Heritage Cherry (item number: 482569). With a little blank space enough to store a few things like a cloth and maybe one or 2 small maintenance solutions, a pack of spare strings, and some picks.
Also managed to store the guitar's strap right by the body without needing to remove it (2" strap).
