Replacement for cheap mando
I brought this as a replacement for the nut in an ibanez mandolin:
The Ibanez M510E-BS (Which I also brought from Thomann.)
it fits, it's exactly the right size. everything works.

Basic plastic nut
It's cheap and it does the job.
Be aware that this doesn't fit the HBMA-50 mandolin (it's wider and has a bit wider string spacing). However, it's not something that a bit of sanding paper cannot help with.

Easy fit!
Already slotted to save time is a bonus. Slightly oversize so plenty of scope to custom fit. I replaced the old nut on my 1950s Levin mandolin and used the old nut to adjust the new nut size - a simple procedure taking only a few minutes of careful filing and sanding.
Overall great value....

good enough
I would use it only for little projects, I was confused when I received it because it's not bone, but plastic nuts, that should have been mentioned in the title, but anyway for the price it's fair enough.
