Gutes Ausgangsmaterial für Eigenkreationen

Ich habe mir das Pickguard als Rohling für eine Bullet Mustang gekauft. Für dieses Modell hat man nur wenig Alternativen, insbesondere bei ungewöhnlichen Pickup- / Schalter-Konfigurationen. Die Farbe ist den Fotos sehr ähnlich, da gab es keine Überraschungen. Das Material ist gut zu verarbeiten. Nicht zu wabbelig, aber auch nicht zu starr.

Das Pickguard hat jedenfalls sämtliche Arbeiten mit dem Dremel (Trennscheiben und Schleifaufsätze) und anschließendem Schleifen per Hand klaglos über sich ergehen lassen. Das Ergebnis ist zwar bisher nicht so toll geworden, aber das kann ich nicht dem Produkt anlasten (sondern meiner eigenen Ungeschicklichkeit).

Fazit: gutes und empfehlenswertes Ausgangsprodukt. Preis geht voll in Ordnung. Man sollte aber eine ruhige Hand haben, einiges an Zeit mitbringen und an solchen Arbeiten Spass haben. Für Standardpickguards (Strat, Tele) würde ich mir den Aufwand nicht machen, da gibt es gute Alternativen von der Stange. Für Gitarren wie Mustangs, Jaguars, SGs oder individuelle Eigenkreationen aber sehr zu empfehlen.

Utilisé pour un pickguard sur mesure, pour une guitare faite maison de type Danelectro.

Très agréablement surpris par la qualité de l'objet. même rigidité et solidité que sur les autres plaques 3 plis des autres marques, pourtant bien plus cher. Et la taille assez généreuse permet des choses bien plus grandes qu'un pickguard de strat.

Il ne me semble pas que cela soit mentionné sur l'offre, mais il y a bien un petit film protecteur sur l'une des faces.
