To be true, it is my first electric instrument and I have only positive impressions about it. As I used to play acoustic guitar it was important for me to try as much as possible versatile instrument to understand if electric is mine, and I made the right decision when chose the Harley Benton ST-20HSS SB Standard Series. After several months, of course, I want some more and sometimes look for more advanced instrument, but then I take this guitar in my hands and understand that I didn't try this or this... It is amazing, and by this I remembered my teenages when I got my first classic guitar :)
To criticize I should only mention (1) some negligible cosmetic roughnesses (but they are almost invisible), (2) a bit angled neck (the fat E string sometimes goes out from neck on higher frets) and (3) some instability in the tone controls work in the neck-mid position (in the beginning sometimes they did nothing in this position, sometimes worked correctly, but today its ok, what was the reason I don't know). Netherless, all these critic comments are nothing at the background of overall price/quality relation.

Everything is super!
I wanted to be a rock-star one day. But I only have a classical guitar. And you can't really play rock on it. And not only rock, but also blues, funk, and so on.
And, wandering around the Internet, I came across such a wonderful store - Thomann. I compared and weighed all the prices, and concluded that any product here comes out cheaper than ours in Kazakhstan.
As a result, as a beginner, I chose the budget model. And I never regret it. The build quality is excellent. The guitar looks even better than in the photo. Everything is set up and tightened. Everything sounds great (although I tried it only in 1 combo - Harley Benton HB-15GXD JamBox, but I think it will be fine in any device). Switches, turns on everything as it should.
Conclusion - if you are a beginner, and already a seasoned guitarist - Harley Benton ST-20HSS is a great choice!

Great guitar
Bought this guitar a while ago and im using it on a band practice..
Pros:
Finish is amazing.. no rough spots and the burst is really making the guitar shine.. Neck is comfortable c shape..stock pickups were ok but i changed them for emg 81.. which made it sound like heaven..
Cons:
Guitar is after 15 min of playing (i play pretty hard.. so that maybe wont be your problem) out of tune, so you probably have to change tuners and especially nut and seddles.. i dont know why, but i am not able to get the intonation right..
Overall if you put some work into it and do some upgrades it can become high end guitar..

Good for the price
I have had this guitar for I think 9 months and it is good for the price. I have changed the fretboard with my old squires and installed locking tuners plus a floyd rose locking nut and it still went out of tune.
But I have had numerous hours with this guitar, practicing and stuff after all it's a good guitar for the price, but you will be frustrated with how much it goes out of tune. The sound is nice tho.

Really bad first impressions...
Both tone controlss were completely dead only thing they did was make sound from muffled clear tone to more clearer when cranked to max... theres no point returning it since it would cost like half of the original price. also the fretboard feels really rough and strings rattle at some positions. so im just getting a new model but the ST-62 hot rod which seems way better deal in overall quality and much better pickups... So in my opinion if you looking for a cheap guitar go for the hotrod edition or any other in that same price range which is 50€ more you get better pickups and overall better experience dont buy this one or any other st-20 models.

Harley Benton ST-20HSS
Sound:
The stock pickups are good enough to play any music genres. The humbuckers sounded pretty well with hi-gain amps. Even with clean effects it sounded great. The other two single pickups are also good although not excellent to my taste.
Finish:
Overall I can say that the finish on this guitar is pretty well-built. The one i received had an excellent finishing. The frets are nicely placed. Fretboard is amazing. Its just the tuners that can go tiny bit of out tuning when played hard. The sunburst colour makes it like an expensive guitar. I have friends coming over and look at this guitar first time thinking it cost above 200Euros because of how it looks.
Conclusion:
My final verdict for this guitar is that anyone should get one of these Harley Benton products. I played guitar for 20 years and really satisfied with it. For gigs, this guitar can be a saviour if you get what i mean.

This is the best guitar for the money. There are some nuances regarding the build quality, but this does not affect the sound in any way.
A small unevenness on the neck.
Not completely polished.
The tremolo is not quite tight.

Okay For Beginners But..
The price and look are the only pros. I'm not very experienced but it doesn't sound like a strat. I have not played one but just according to my listening experience. I'm only using a Boss Katana Mini though.
The biggest con for me was the sharp edges on the frets. It hurts my hand and prevents me from playing it fully. As I'm not very handy I've damaged the fretboard while unsuccessfully trying to file the edges.
Also, it doesn't hold the tuning very well.

Decent instrument.
Suprisingly good considering low price tag.

Stay away!!!
Got mine a while back, and it has way too much neck relief that can't be easily adjusted due to the nut being cut too deep from the factory. The fret ends are razor sharp, and the frets are unlevel in numerous places. Also the output jack pops and crackles when I move around. I bought it to learn on, but the only thing I've learned so far is I'll never buy another one of these cheap guitars. Oh, and I learned it takes a month or so to even get an order from this place to the States. That's why I didn't just return it. Multiple times across the ocean, with the risk of further damage and the time involved, didn't seem worth it for a sub 100 dollar guitar. Buyers beware!!!
