Small footprint
I bought these to connect some gear inside a 19" rackcase.
These or not being unplugged/plugged regularly,
pro:
ideal for crowded panels (inside rack cases)
cost effective.
easy to solder.
cons:
if using thicker cable, strain relief is not optimal.
(not an issue for me)

Quality jack
Solid feeling jack with gold-plated solid pin. The discription says it is for cables up to 5mm, but can be used with ticker cables if you use shrinktube.

large cables possible
I managed to get 2 Goblin xlr cables in to this jack plug in order to make a custom length y stereo cable. One carried stereo signal in and connected the Left to the Tip, the other cable connected to the Right channel of the first cable and carried mono out to another jack. It was tight but there's just enough space including heatshrink and it seems to be working well so far.
