B
In my opinion the best of its kind
Bartok01 25.06.2023
I did an extensive review before buying my first travel electric guitar. The double humbucker was the reason I went for this one and I don't regret. It traveled with me a lot and its sound even ended up in records with celebrity artists from my country with whom I collaborated with. I recommend it.

L
Affordable Travel Guitar
Lee23 18.03.2025
It's as I expected and after 2 weeks of playing it, I've grown to like it even more. The issue with the neck nosediving is an issue but can be worked around. It's not so much of an issue for me as it is for others. Overall as a budget travel guitar, I would say it's worth the money😁

Doesn't take up much space, the pickups are surprisingly good, it is well built and has a comfortable neck, reminiscent of a Jackson's. It even came with its own gig bag and truss rod key.

B
Not necessarily a project Guitar
Bumbartusti 07.08.2026
It is a specific guitar it's a travel or sofa guitar and if you buy it as something different you are mistaken you can spend less and get a full size guitar from HB-range. Enough about that time to talk about how it is built. It is made in china as most of the low price range ones but that does not mean anything finish of the body is perfect paint job is wonderful . Neck is nice no sharp edges fingerboard needs some oil but nothing mayor threads need good polish because there is some patina or conservation gunk on them. Guitar is practically tuned out of the box it needed minor intonation corrections and a set of new strings. because there was need for some TLC and I did not like factory strings. String change is simple and fast just cut old strings take bridge off do not remove or move screws around insert new strings in bridge and put it back first tune outer E strings so they hold bridge in place. The hardest part of preparing the guitar for first use was removing protection film from pick guard plate because it was under the neck pickup screws and also under pots and switch nuts and washers so all needed to be disassembled but it is the case with all guitars that I bought. Only thing that annoyed was the way how jack plate was screwed on the body. It did not follow the shape of body but ends were lifted and it looked like nail catcher (almost broke a nail and yes it hurts) Reason for that was s lot of saw dust under the plate. after cleaning and additional bending jack plate fits perfectly. Basically I relay like this one how it feels in hand and nose dive is ok it is what it is you will learn how to handle it. Now why did I think it is a project guitar it is absolutely usable and fun to look and play as is no modification needed. Only thing that bothers me is aesthetic of chrome parts so I was thinking black locking tuners and black bridge and only chrome part that I would left is neck plate but when you put it on the paper replacement part cost more than guitar so for now I'll learn to love it as it is. Great product for price and I hope that my purchase will help to save Höfner as a brand and a Legend
