Simple but Effective
I've been using various guitar supports that attach to the guitar with suckers, which are ok but can become detached and can be a bother when changing guitars having to move it from one guitar to another. This cushion overcomes those problems and is probably the simplest possible solution to provide a comfortable playing position.
It's not adjustable like a stick on support and it took me a while to get used to the slightly different playing position it provides, but once I did, I found it surprisingly effective and stable.
I tend to use this most of the time now and think it would be nice to also have the smaller size to allow for different seating positions.
I Have only awarded it 4 stars instead of 5 as I think it is quite expensive for what it is, although Thomann was by far the best price I found for a genuine Hopf Dynarette.

Great support cushion
This is a simply to use and high quality support cushion that will bring your guitar to the right playing position. I'm using the cushion with electric guitars and basses. The rubberized strip on the back prevents the cushion from sliding around. For me it's a lot more comfortable to use than a foot support would be. Recommended!

Comfortable and stable but noisy
Good for gigs and practice but not for studio-recordings. Too squeeky/noisy.

Classical guitarists must consider buying this item!!
Excellent design helps improving the posture, in ways which one can keep a healthy posture as well as offer the chance of extending the playability and hours of practice. Reliable materials in building the cushion does not damage the instrument and is easy to use. A must consider for guitarists, especially those who play classical and flamenco styles.

Good alternative to a footstool
There is no denying that the traditional playing position for classical guitar using a footstool is not very ergonomic. I could never play for very long without getting a stiff back and/or pins and needles in one of my legs. And so I began looking around for alternatives.
Basically, these fall into two categories: devices that are attached to the guitar, usually by suction pads, and those that aren't. This cushion is in the latter group. I did not like the idea of suction pads on my guitar, which I thought might create unsightly marks, and I doubted how securely they would hold the guitar in position. Therefore, I chose the Dynarette cushion.
I have been very happy with my choice. The cushion is well made and does the job. The bottom surface is made of a non-slip fabric that keeps it in place on the thigh. It is simple and effective. The only downside I can see is that it would take up quite a lot of space in your case if you were touring, but this has not been an issue for me.

Hopf Dynarette High
Well made product although slightly pricey (not Thomann). This is the correct height for me. I previously bought the standard height one which is ok if you're sitting on a piano stool or a younger/smaller individual is using it. Great service and speedy delivery from Thomann.

Well made alternative to guitarist's footstool
The Dynarette is very well made. Some people love them but to me they feel awkward. You have to try everything though until you find what suits you.

Good quality
Sturdy and does what it's meant to do. You might have to move around a bit till you find a position that is comfortable for you. Would recommend if you have any back pain and can't use a normal footstool.

Healthy
If you make recording a whole day long, it whould be hard to hold the electric guitar with guitar strap on your sholders. But, if you sit, electric guitar goes too low down.
I thik, these product is neccesary for healthy and regular guitar recordings ore practice.
