IK Multimedia iLoud Micro Monitor

Es gibt ja ein großen Hype um die iLoud Micro Monitors. Die Frage stellt sich - Ist dies berechtigt?. Sind diese kleinen Boxen wirklich so gut wie gesagt wird und wirklich gut genug um als Referenzmonitor im Studio eingesetzt zu werden. Hier meine Meinung: Die Aufstellung dieser kleinen Boxen finde ich extrem wichtig. Die beiden Boxen sollten tatsächlich nicht sehr weit auseinander stehen. Bei mir stehen die Boxen ca 50cm auseinander und ich bekomme so ein sehr klares Stereo Panorama. Fast wie mit einem Kopfhörer. Man könnte fast sagen "Kophörer mit Raumklang". Bass scheint ja für Viele ein wichtiges Thema zu sein. Bringen diese kleinen Boxen Bass? Die Antwort ist -Ja, diese Boxen bringen Bass. Sogar mehr Bass als meine JBL Control 1G. Es scheint die Bass Wiedergabe wurde etwas künstlich "gehypt" von IK Multimedia. Die Industrie sollte sich nicht treiben lassen von Hip-Hop oder dergleichen sondern beim Design von Monitoren auf die Wiedergabe von echter Musik, gespielt mit echten Instrumenten konzentrieren. Stellt man den LF Schalter an der Rückseite der Boxen auf -3db verbessert sich der Sound dieser Boxen. Der Hype um diese Boxen ist teilweise berechtigt, Es ist wirklich unglaublich welch guten und klaren Sound diese Boxen bei richtiger Aufstellung bringen können. Als professionell vollwertigen Monitor für Mixing, oder gar Mastering würde ich die Micro Monitors nicht einsetzen. Aber als Zweit- oder Drittabhöre im Tonstudio finde ich diese Boxen sehr brauchbar. Bei mir stehen die Micro Monitors neben dem Monitor am Wohnzimmer Computer. Dies erlaubt mir nicht nur Musik in guter Soundqualität zu geniessen sondern auch bequem zuhause ein Mix oder Master zu checken ohne gleich den Weg ins Tonstudio antreten zu müssen.

I have read so many good reviews that I bought these monitors knowing already that I would be happy with them. My expectations have been exceeded. I replaced a pair of Behringer M16s that have been my alternative for a few years, knowing their limits but appreciating their qualities. The difference between the two products is huge, as I expected.

Pros:
I am a pianist and composer, I do my productions in a small space of about 15 sqm, often working at night with my trusty KRK 8400 headphones, then during the day I listen to and correct my mixes if necessary listening to them in a good pair of Audiophile hi -fi monitors, which I love, or in my car. Since I have the iLoud Micro, I have regenerated enthusiasm and the pleasure of hearing often hidden details, producing more balanced mixes with clear highs and deep but controlled bass.
The speakers are set flat with only the bass at -3db due to their positioning close to the walls

I have tested these little gems with all the musical genres I listen to, from classical to jazz, from rock to folk, R & B and Latin, opera and electronic, only instrumental and only vocals. All music that I know very well and it was all a pleasure to listen to. IK Multimedia has made an excellent product and I hope it will last me a long time.

Cons:
It was not easy to position them well, as the cable between the two speakers is very rigid and heavy, so much so that it moves the angle of the speakers with its weight. The speakers are placed on top of my hi-fi speakers and I had to find a solution to keep them angled and stable. Once I was successful, I enjoyed their sound and went back to making music.
It would be great if there was a cable that was at least 2 meters long and a bit more flexible.

Overall:
I am delighted with this investment and recommend it to anyone like me who has little space for their creative setup, and wants to spend their money wisely. They do an excellent job, and don't make you feel the need to buy speakers of more famous and much more expensive brands. Also great as a second pair of monitors or portable systems with Bluetooth connectivity. These are smart little gems!

I travel a lot to different places for different projects, and i needed compact monitors for work in different places , and my choice stopped on this amazing pair. This little babies are so cute until you turn them on. They sound like big monitors with meaty basses gentle high and accurate middle frequencies and pretty detailed. Most people put them near notebook or pc and can't catch whole capabilities of this amazing monitors. i've put them 1,5 m far and tried to make whole mix on this monitors. after i checked my mix on my Amphion one 18, Yamaha ns 10 an MM27 Barefoot. Mix was sounding very good and smooth. And i can work on this monitors for a long time and my ears don't get tired. And the most important, room acoustics does no affect so much on sounding of Iloud Micro and therefore you can work where you want , and you will get relatively the same sounding.

Como moro num apartamento pequeno resolvi vender o amplificador de guitarra e passei para um rig totalmente digital. Sempre toquei com colunas de 10 e 12 polegadas, então comecei a procurar monitores activos near field de no mínimo 5 polegadas, no entanto depois de ler tantas reviews positivas sobre estas colunas resolvi arriscar. Não podia ter sido mais surpreendido. São ainda mais pequenas do que eu pensava, a construção em plástico não inspira a mesma confiança que umas Genelec, no entanto são bastante robustas e não produzem ruídos estranhos.
O som é surreal para o tamanho das pequenas colunas de 3 polegadas. O sistema de bass reflex funciona muito bem, dando-lhes a pujança de colunas muito maiores, enchendo facilmente todo o quarto de um som profundo e detalhado. Muito definidas em todo o espectro, perfeito para tocar guitarra, misturar e até para ouvir música e ver filmes.
Nunca pensei usar tanto o Bluetooth, é uma feature extremamente útil pois outras pessoas em casa as podem facilmente usar para ouvir música. O bluetooth emparelha super rápido com qualquer dispositivo e sem qualquer problema.
Para as dimensões do meu quarto (10m2) creio que foram a escolha perfeita, estou extremamente satisfeito e recomendo vivamente.

Ce fac serile la hotel? Muzica.
Laptopul bun, asociat cu o microclaviatura MIDI si un modul de sunet extern decent pareau sa-mi ajunga. Dar auditia pe casti....Niste casti bune pareau de ajuns, dar.... stiti si voi ca nu-I tot aia ca auditia pe boxe. In delegatie nu pot sa iau cu mine monitoarele de studio (care exista in home studioul meu).
La birou ascult muzica dar boxele "normale" suna altfel decat unele de studio si as vrea sa raman cat mai mult in contact cu sunetul "de studio" (mi se deregleaza urechile, zic eu).
In plus desele prezentari pe care le tin unor sali cu zeci de personae necesitau un sunet bun.....
Raspunsul la toate aceste nevoi este achizitia acestei perechi de monitoare care chiar ca sunt "micro". Acum am un intreg studio intr-o geanta.
Boxele nu incapeau, acum incap si ele !
Ei, da, nu sunt boxe care sa inlocuiasca niste monitoare pro intr-un studio adevarat.....dar pentru un studio mobil (ca al meu) sunt ideale (chiar neasteptat de bune!).
Vrea un prieten sa inregistreze o piesa? Nu-l chem la mine, merg eu la el. Canta in halat si papuci, nici o problema, se simte bine, ca acasa. Si sa stiti de la mine, asta conteaza mai mult decat toate dotarile din lume: sa te simti bine cand inregistrezi. Atunci capturez eu cele mai bune interpretari.

Esperaba con ansias este producto, ya que el Iloud que salio hace unos años, ha sido todo un boom de exito, realmente buen sonido flat e ideal para guitarristas con sus 40watts RMS, hace que sea mas practico para cualquier guitarrista en llevar sonido a cualquier parte.
Ahora IK Multimedia, decidió repetir el exito pero dirigido para los Home Studios, un par de speakers pequeños pero que suenen flat tan equivalente como un verdadero studio de grabacion tratado sonoramente. Estoy super contento con este producto, ha super mejorado el sonido del cuarto donde hago mis mezclas, yo antes monitoreaba con Yamaha HS5 muy bueno pero era demasiado para mi cuarto de studio, pues no podia ponerlos a 2,5 metros o al menos 1 metro de la pared, para tener un mejor sonido, era dificil, asi que muchas veces tenia ciertos errores en mezcla, pero ahora, con el nuevo iLoud Micro Monitor, todo eso se ha solucionado y es mas facil de monitorear, además, cuando escucho musica o una pelicula desde el ordenador, es super bueno, igual con Ipad o Ipod, facil conexión, no pesan mucho, Bluetooth, bueno sonido flata y bueno sonido en graves y agudos.

Queste piccole casse mi hanno stupito, cercavo dei monitor per il mio studio casalingo, dove ho davvero poco spazio, e ho trovato delle vere gemme.

-Le casse in sè risultano molto limpide e distinte, danno sicuramente la possibilità sia di dissezionare un mix per trovare errori sia di giudicare con fedeltà un prodotto finito. Qualità comparabili sicuramente con monitor su questa fascia di prezzo.
-La base è gestita bene e non invade le altre frequenze, questa può solo risultare un pò eccessiva se le si posiziona con un muro dietro (io per questo motivo ho ridotto le frequenze basse con l' interfaccia posteriore)
-La fabbricazione è alquanto solida e ciò le rende una buona scelta per chi si sposta molto, le metterei in una borsa con tranquillità.
-La connettività è ottima con due imput analogici e la capacità blutooth.

In sintesi; sono davvero delle belle casse per uno studio con poco spazio e sicuramente danno la possibilità di lavoprare a livello professionale.
Unica pecca è che si paga un pò per la compattezza rispetto a concorrenti che offrono qualità simile ma con un'impronta più grande.
