It does what it says on the box, and does it damn well.
I've looked for a booster for a while and as you know there are many out there. What I was looking for was just a booster with a gain knob, nothing more, nothing less, as I didn't want to colour my signal in any way, but just boost it.
The Katana Mini is small and sturdy and will definitely fit on every pedal board, but is just big enough to be able to stomp on it and not feel like your smashing the pedal under your foot.
When I push the Katana Mini a bit over 12 o'clock you get more crunch and volume, just as my amp would, but also a slight treble boost. If you have a strat or strat-like guitar you probably have enough treble already, so the internal dip switch to cut some treble will be helping you out.
I had heard about Keeley and it's quality before and was already amazed by the packaging and minimalism of the pedal.
All in all it's just what I wanted. 5/5!

Compact quality boost
Bought this mini boost and it is compact and nice quality. However I feel like the original full size gave me a bit more boost. In this one, it doesn't seem to push the amp quite as much as my original one. Not sure if they still have the 18V boost circuit so its worth investigating if you are coming from the full size one and trying to save space. It will be about 90-95% of the original.

Excellent pedal
This is a great boost pedal . Fabulous sounding . Im running a stereo rig and use it as a volume adjustment pedal also for when I switch between different guitars . Im using it clean but you have some dip switches internally that boost the gain if you want to use it as an overdrive pedal also. Keeley makes great pedals , its very well put toget

Fantastic
I bought the Katana mini boost as i wanted a clean boost that doesn't colour my sound but still has its own personality. So because i didn't have the budget for the Katana clean boost, i went for the mini one.
I'm so happy for my choise, it's a fantastic pedal it adds warmth and depth to your sound and its pretty powerfull as boost. I bought it to boost my solos and lead parts in my band, but it makes my tone so tasty that i think im gonna leave it on almost all the time.
Now i understand why john Mayer used to run two of them in his rig, once you turn it on you cant switch it off really.
If you are on the market for a clean boost look no further than the mini Katana, its warm, powerfull, convenient, a bit pricey but you will love it.
