Does what it ought to
This adapter might have a range of uses. I use it in DIY projects where I want to be able to mount my invention on a mic stand. For example, I used this as the base attachment on a dummy head binaural microphone. It has a textured surface on the rim to aid gripping when screwing it in, but I would have prepared slots as well, so that I could use a coin or broad screwdriver.

Solid Build, But Sizing Letdown
The K&M 217 is a well-made, sturdy piece of equipment, but I ran into a major issue with its sizing. It’s supposed to be a standard size, but when I tried to attach it to the stand I bought it for, it turned out to be loose when screwing it on. Despite the quality materials and solid construction, this fit problem made it unusable for my setup. It’s a real disappointment, especially since I expected a snug fit from something that’s advertised as standard. Make sure to double-check compatibility before purchasing.

It works
There's not much that you can say about these other than they are essential to carry with you if you find yourself using different mic stands and clips, they cost very little but can prove invaluable and save a lot of gaffer tape!
A squirt of WD40 is never a bad idea before fitting, they can be a pain to remove if they've been left in place for a while.

Usefull
I bought this so I can mount the t.bone SSM 4 microphone shock mount on the K&M 259 microphone stand as it was suggested.
It screwed in without any problems. Some other thread adapters I own sometimes are getting stuck because of how the threads are made, but you can't go wrong with any K&M product.

Great adaptor at a nice price
Got some of these as had a variety of mic stands and holders, and they invariably all needed adaptors, and was getting fed up of the cheap (or not so cheap actually) plastic adaptors, that would get stuck, dameded or just break at the worst moment.
These adaptors are not much more than the plastic ones, and are so much better, and at this price, worth having a few spare in the draw for when you suddenly find yourself in need of some of them.

Does the job
Works perfectly, although i'd like there to be something to grip onto a little more when unscrewing it from a mic clamp

get's the job done
Very nicely made actually. For a thread adapter it gets the job done!

It has wider part, which is nice, while preventing to go too deep, but has no a chance to be unsrewed with a coin or a screwdriver.
