I've played countless salsa gigs with this one. I even use it to hold a Sabian "El Sabor Picante" and it is still very stable.

Amazing for mounting cowbell

I use this to mount my cowbell to my floor tom hoop.
It is very sturdy and doesn't affect the sound of the tom or the cowbell.

This claw is a well-known percussion accessory. It is ideal for attaching items to other pieces of percussion such as timbales. It is well designed and very useful. There are no "cons". I recommend it.
