great tool for linux-lovers (and others...)
zackcement 05.04.2020
I'd been looking for a while for a suitable interface for my ubuntu-studio driven DAWs and now I found it! The M-Audio AIR 192
6 is fully class-compliant and will work straight-out-of-the-box; plug it in and start recording, no hassle with drivers or other shit! Since my computer is double-booted, I downloaded the ProTools and Ableton software for my windows 10 driven DAWs but I couldn't be bothered to try and integrate it in my open-source environment...These guys allways find ways to complicate you live. Viva linux; we need more products like these M-Audio AIR 192 lines!

RM
Home Studio Audio Interface
Rey M. 19.01.2021
I am using this for my home studio and it's okay for my casual use. The clarity of the sound and recording is good and user friendly. Would like it to be more compact or the sound to be crisper but it is okay to what I only need. You can purchase this if you are just using it for a home studio. If you need more for professional use then buy higher specs but it comes with a price.

It works. It has a big practical knob. It has all the necessary inputs and outputs a desk needs.

v
Not suitable for Ubuntu linux
vadikus 27.07.2020
Looks great, nice knobs. Unfortunately, there are a few cons in this device:
1. It doesn't properly work with Ubuntu Linux (the device is visible but cannot get it to work properly as an input device). AlsaMixer doesn't offer any settings to change because of physical knobs. Also tried with pavucontrol util. Probably it's possible to get it to work somehow as proper input, but not as easy as plug-n-play.
2. The big wheel knob at the center of the device makes the physical sound of scratching/grinding (probably smth between the wheel and cover). Very annoying.
