Cool Idea
Matt H 04.05.2017
Got this so I can angle my Markbass 801 practice amp up in order to hear myself a low volumes when at home. Does the trick, and packs down pretty flat when not in use.

I dont think I'd trust it for larger cabs (but maybe two would be ok), but for smalller amps it does what it's supposed to. It'll work best with cube shapes, with lower centers of gravity, as larger/taller enclosures may tip over.

I've used it on a couple of smaller gigs (turns my practice amp into an onstage monitor), where I'm to close to my main amp to hear myself properly. Ran a feed out the back of my stack, into the combo and was able to get a 'monitor' feed of my bass back out to me. Bonus!

S
Nice amp stand
Steve5998 14.09.2015
This Mark Bass Stand is very good quality and does the job well. It angles the cab/amp upwards and allows you to hear your music a little more instead of having it blasting through your ankles! Ideal for stage monitors or for single cab solutions at smaller gigs.

I would have preferred for it to be a little wider, just so it could more easily handle larger cabs. However I guess you could get two and line them up!

It folds quickly and sets up well using high quality velcro. When folded it is nice and compact and easy to transport.

There is velcro on the top of the stand so it works best with cabs that are covered in carpet (or a fluffy finish). Despite this I still use it with some hard finish cabs and it still works fine.

R
Amp wedge!
RR_on_bass 23.03.2022
The wedge is great for angling a cab upwards. I use this with an Ashdown 15" cab and head. The sound is more clear with the angle. The angle does seem extreme though and it's hard to use this at less steep angles. It folds up and fits into a bag with my amp head.

OK
Perfect, like all MarkBass products!

I have bought 2 of these, 1 for each of my cabs. These are just so damn handy, very sturdy and able to take the weight of heavy cabs, the rubber bottom could withstand a nuclear blast, and there's plenty of velcro to keep things under control. I particularly like the angle this kicks my cabs up at - the mids and highs hit my ears perfectly. I had 1 previously, but had to get another one because of how perfect it is.

Marco, Riccardo and the crew at MarkBass have another winning product on their hands.

excellent!

Bought this for my Markbass MINI CMD121p combo, and I can say that every owner of this combo (or any other combo, when applicable) should own one! Perfect angle for monitoring and I noticed no bass loss at all. Bottom has a non slip feet so it is firm to the ground. Easy to store and fold easily to fit in most gigbag pockets. The stand is suprisingly sturdy and stable. Thomann sells it for the best price around europe so get yours now!

I stand corrected!
Hankmeister 17.04.2023
A friend suggested this as an alternative to a bulky metal kickback stand. I was initially put off by the price and (stupidly) the simplicity of the concept. However, having now tried the Markstand out, it’s just so well thought out and, like some of the best ideas, simplicity itself. Tilts my 102 traveller back to a near perfect angle for standing between 1 and 2 metres in front of the cab. Remarkably effective, weighs very little, folds to fit into a pocket on my gig bag. Feels expensive for what it is, but I guess it’s the concept that you’re paying for as much as anything else.

Clever

Clever little gizmo, if you have a cab that's not so high, this will help to direct the high frequencies more towards your ears. It doesn't really take anything much away from the low end (at least in my experience). Great design that takes up almost no space in your gig bag. Sturdy too, I haven't been able to damage it and the velcro is still perfectly functional.

Very handy

Really useful bit of kit, especially on cramped stages, for hearing your amp without having to crank it so loud that everyone else turns up even more to compensate.

Packs up to almost no space at all, sticks to the side of my cab with velcro if needed. Or I can slide it down over the neck of the gig bag.

Don't need it so much now I have a taller amp stack, but definitely keep it on hand for gigs when I only really need the 1x10" cab

Markbass Mark Stand

An excellent addition to any Markbass combo or cabinet.
It's made of a strong vinyl material with velcro, it transforms from flat into a nice sturdy wedge shape, perfect for sliding under combo or cab to angle it up towards you.
The bottom has strong rubber feet and the part that fits under the combo or cab has velcro so it sticks to the cab which avoids it toppling backwards.
Packs down nice and neat for easy transport too.
Lot of thought has gone in to make such a simple item into a quality piece of equipment. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.
