Are they the best?
Are they better than others? Are they worth the money? Well, that's up to you but I do reckon they improve sustain and look real good! As far as the price goes, we all know that the more expensive stuff you got, the higher your social status... ;)

Good but not for everyone
I removed them out of my D-28 as I found them a bit aesthetically out of place there and frankly, did not hear any tone or volume difference. I think they're suited to D-42s and D-45s, but this is one extravagance I can do without.
