Not for brushes!
Bought this practice pad explicitly for brushes, but the rubber playing surface is not suitable for it. This was not stated in the listing.
The picture of the playing surface is also misleading, because it looks like a coated drumhead. It is not. Just smooth rubber, like any other practice pad.
Also the playing surface gives off small white granules. the sticks and brushes also leave a lot of white marks, but they are cleaned off by a damp microfibre cloth.
Conclusion: Decent practice pad for sticks, but not for brushes!
Advice: buy the Meinl Marshmellow pad instead, and put over a drumhead for your brush playing.

Great, elegant and accurate rebound
This is just a practice pad. But, it is elegant, very well made, and the feel is just right.
It's not the quietest, but that's to be expected if you want a good "snare drum" feel.
I highly recommend - this is a classy practice pad.

Solid
Solid build to practice, not very travel friendly due to size.
