Meinl X-Hat Cymbal Stand Adapter

It's cheap and it works, there's no similar product on the market AFAIK, so big kudos to Meinl, but...

1. I had to use pliers so I could really fasten the adapter on my cymbal stand, otherwise it'd get loose pretty quickly...
2. All of the 3 "felts" needed to be replaced asap, because what you get is the cheapest possible plastic foams which are pretty stiff. Don't know why normal hihat felts weren't included instead of these...
3. I had to use extra cymbal sleeve for bottom cymbal otherwise it'd grind against the metal rod which I'm not really fond of

So yeah, the product is satisfactory if you put some work in it and I still recommend it because all of the other hihat or stack attachments on the market are just too expensive

I got this to stack couple of Pstx Swiss Splash, it worked okay but is this worth €23,90? No, not really and here's why:

- you will want to replace the foams (they're not felts, but like a rubber mat) with actual felts
- you will have to put sleeves between the rod and the cymbal
- you will want to replace the clutch because, oh dear, it's crap.

So basically you just end up with a short hi-hat rod and couple of washers to catch the bottom hat. I know people here are saying it's okay because it's cheap, not really. It's a short hi-hat rod with throw-away extras.

- Is this worth €23,90? No
