Great for D-mounting non-standard connectors
Drilled out to mount some BNC through-connectors into a rack panel.
These blanking plates are flat on both sides - no embossing or other moulding - so you can drill them out as required to mount other connectors that aren't otherwise supported in D-format panels. Use the Neutrik MFD mounting plates for a good strong mount of this blanking plate with your choice of connector. I used for BNCs but this approach would also work for jack sockets or RCA phono for example.
Use the Neutrik ones for a pro finish where you want a genuine blank (again use the MFD).

Just what I needed
I went for these over the Neutrik ones, and I'm glad I did. They're cheaper, made from plastic, but since they're just a blanking panel, they don't need to be anything else, and when mounted from the back, it's completely flush with the panel itself, giving a nice, clean look.

Clean
The covers are clean, no branding, no text.
Makes the blanking plate look clean especially when rear mounted.
It would be nice if screws were included.
