T
Best stands ever.
Tattoodevil 15.05.2014
I have been raving about these stands to anyone that will listen for a long time now. As a custom drum kit builder, I struggled for a long time to find reasonably priced hardware to sell with my kits. I bought my first Millenium CS-901 pro cymbal stand many years ago and have since bought many more. The first pair went to a customer of mine and are still as rock solid as the day they arrived. They've been gigged, toured and thrown around yet they still hold up to any punishment thrown at them. They are the most heavy duty, over-engineered stands I've come across in 27 years of drumming and the most reasonable priced too! I wouldn't recommend any other stands for this price, or even double the price!

I
Millenium CS-901 Pro Cymbal Stand

The Millenium CS-901 Pro Cymbal Stand
Were can i start the quality is amazing for the price
I will start my report from the top of the Millenium CS-901 Pro Cymbal Stand to the bottom of the Millenium CS-901 Pro Cymbal Stand.
I like the quality of the wing nut and the nearing effect for extra grip, the cymbal tilter has a good range of adjustment and feels solid once tightened up, top half of stand tube is very thick and chunky there is a memory lock which is really chunky and is hinged so if you wanted to take it off you wouldn't have to take the stand apart which is a good feature , the adjustment clamp that holds the upper part of the stand is really chunky also only seen on hardware 3 times it cost the double braced legs are solidly built and there is even a memory lock under the tripod base for easy set up every time all in all this stand is fantastic for the money a recommended buy
I am tempted to replace all my other hardware with the Millenium pro range

Replaced all my hardware for this series

These are great stands, but they are heavy.

They have features and quality typically found on stands which cost far more than this. The entry level Pearl, Yamaha, Tama etc are all around £50-60 and are inferior to these.

Double braced. Memory locked everything. Plastic inner sleeving to protect the chrome. Memory lock beneath the tripod base so you can set them up quickly.

All that I don't like so much, is that the boom stands can be configured as straight stands and there is very little reason except aesthetics and a slight weight reduction to go for straights over booms, especially as the price is the same.

They are heavy, be warned. Like if you've got 5-6 in a bag be prepared to ruin your spine. Chrome plating has held up well. Wing nut/adjusters etc are superior to the gear at the studio and other brands I've encountered.

Not the most secure hold, but does the job for cheap
Akos 13.08.2020
One of the legs was loose from the start, but a bit of tape took care of that. It is not the sturdiest stand but I have what I paid for: a relatively good stand for a small cymbal. I still use it after years.
