The best layout I found but very cheap quality
Liukke 04.03.2022
I love this desk, I was looking for this layout exactly since I like the very spread apart speakers and the empty space in between them, where I put an additional screen below the main one.
The double 4 slots of racks available are great, I can organise my audio interface, preamps and a master power switch without occupying any extra space somewhere else.

The table seems sturdy, the MDF feels solid and for now I had no problems with it but the rest of the components scream cheapness all over the place.
The four thin legs might look ugly but give TONS of space underneath the desk, I have my computer there, a pedalboard and other stuff which in other tables wouldn't fit due to the walls.

On the other hand, those legs are the worst thing ever...they are hollow metal and they basically resonate. On the back legs there is a metal piece where you can route cables and stuff like that and it's to tight (because the measures are probably off) that resonates like a thunder when you bump the table.
I solved the issue by literally pouring sand up to 3/4 of each leg and dampening them and fixing the metal piece differently...now it's working nicely.

The screws that come with the desk are not enough, instead of 32 there are only 24...enough for 3 screws per rack piece.
To me it's unacceptable and simply screams low quality, I understand the desk is rather cheap compared to others but did they really need to save on 8 more screws?

The keyboard tray is ok, but in a ridiculously bad position, so much in the front that even when you put it back it's still out.
I don't know who planned that part, it feels like has been made by an underpaid frustrated employee that just slammed the screw holes positions in the most uncomfortable way possible.
Thankfully the fix is easy, make new holes and put new threads there.

I would have happily paid 200€ more for a more refined product overall, because as I said it has features that make my workflow much better than even a 2000€ ultramodern desk.

Probably I'll slowly upgrade it overtime, but it's already great as it is, highly reccomended!

bc
best table for its price
bombardiro crocodilo 14.08.2025
I waited for the package for about 5 days, and I was really worried that there would be no extra charges for shipping, since the desk weighs more than 30 kg when disassembled and is not accepted by DHL or UPS without additional fees. But the guys from Thomann did a great job — they split the desk into two separate packages, and both arrived at the same time. All the parts were there, the desk arrived without any breaks or scratches, although the packaging was damaged, everything inside was fine.
DO NOT EVEN THINK THAT IT WILL BE EASY TO CARRY THIS DESK UPSTAIRS ALONE! I carried it myself to the 3rd floor, and it was a real challenge!!! It’s very hard — the box is about 180×100 cm, which is huge.

The construction of the desk is good, but without a power screwdriver it’s not so easy to assemble. Save your hands — doing it with a regular screwdriver is tough, but if you’re desperate like me and don’t care, you’ll manage.

I didn’t really understand the point of the wheels under the desk, so I just screwed in 8 silicone feet about 2–3 mm thick (like pads, but fixed with screws), and I like it this way more. I also heard people complaining about the MIDI shelf being too low — well, I didn’t install it at all, because my MIDI keyboard is on a stand next to me, and I prefer it that way.

The racks on the left and right are simply amazing — 4U on each side, so my 4 units fit perfectly! There is a small gap at the bottom where you can run cables, but it doesn’t really bother me.

IN SHORT — THAT’S IT! This desk is perfect for the money. You won’t find a cheaper desk in a similar form factor with two rack units on each side. Definitely recommend it. Thank you, Thomann!!!!

J
Brilliant desk for a brilliant price!
JumpinJack 25.10.2021
Bought this desk for my home studio as I needed something more suited towards music as my last desk wasn't the best.

Delivery to the UK was a bit of hit and miss, confusion from Thomann at first then it got sorted, was told I would be called 2 days before delivery to arrange a suitable time for delivery. This never happened, but delivery guy was very helpful.

The build process was simple enough, instructions could have been a little better, but an English copy along with the German instructions was a nice touch.

Quality of the wood is amazing, looked more brown on my screen but not I have it up in my studio, it is a very nice black and dark grey colour with a very nice texture.

My only issue with this desk it the pull out shelf, its very low and does stick out slightly not allowing you to get up close to the desk, this is something I will be modifying at a later date.

Overall for a £250 studio desk, its perfect ! Well worth the purchase and am very pleased with it.

Great Quality Solid Desk
Alec-B 22.05.2024
Really great quality desk, huge space and perfect for what I was looking for.

Purhcased this desk about 3 months ago, arrived swiftly (think it was 4 days) and built it in about 1.5 hours. It fits my Yamaha HS-8 speakers which are a little over the 10kg weight limit, but no movement yet although wouldn't advise you do the same as the weight limit is there for a reason. I have a focusright scarlett 18i20 that fits nicely in the rack, and the cable in the cable tray at the back.

Only downside might be the width is wider at the back but I have gear and shelves on the sides so fits nicely for me.

Keyboard (Komplete Kontrol A60) nicely fits with plenty of room above and to the sides.

I regularly have two laptops open on the desk and there's plenty of room still.

It's...huge!
b_m_d 30.03.2022
The best and possibly worst thing about this desk is it's size. It's enormous! A 150 cm version would have been perfect. But after a lot of research, it was the only desk I could find that didn't force the video monitor to have to be placed on a higher shelf. By being this big you can place the screen between the 2 smaller shelves, on the same level as the qwerty keyboard and mouse. That's a big deal for prolonged use - not having to look upward at the screen. The quality of materials for this price point is quite staggering really. It's incredibly well built. It weighs a ton. And it looks stunning in the room. I'm not using the supplied castors (wheels) because I don't want to mark the carpet and this makes the keyboard tray a little too low for my knees. But I'll come up with a solution. The pre-drilled holes for the 19 inch rack brackets didn't align and I needed to screw them in to new holes. But this was no big deal. Overall it's an incredibly well designed, well made and well priced product. I would definitely recommend it. But measure it's dimensions out in your room carefully first before you buy and don't be surprised when you see how much real estate this thing occupies when it's assembled - it's massive!

TUNE TREASURE 16.12.2024
I recently purchased a studio desk, and I am genuinely impressed with its design, functionality, and build quality. The desk is a perfect combination of practicality and aesthetics, making it an ideal choice for creative professionals and hobbyists alike.

Design & Build Quality
The desk is exceptionally sturdy, with high-quality materials that give it a premium feel. The sleek, modern design fits seamlessly into any studio or office setup. The surface area is spacious enough to accommodate multiple monitors, audio equipment, and other tools, without feeling cluttered. The cable management system is a standout feature, keeping wires neatly organized and out of sight.

Functionality
One of the best aspects of this desk is its ergonomic design. The keyboard tray and adjustable shelves are perfectly positioned, allowing for a comfortable working experience during long hours. The built-in rack spaces for audio gear are a huge plus for musicians and producers, providing easy access while maintaining a clean workspace.

Ease of Assembly
Assembly was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions and well-labeled parts. It took only a couple of hours to set up, even for someone without much experience in assembling furniture.

Value for Money
Considering the quality and features, this desk is an excellent investment. It balances functionality and aesthetics, making it worth every penny for professionals in creative fields.

Conclusion
Overall, this studio desk has exceeded my expectations. It enhances productivity, keeps the workspace organized, and looks great while doing so. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable, stylish, and functional desk for their studio

Arrive damaged
Curt_R 11.12.2022
Unfortunately, the desk arrived damaged, so we refused delivery. Ordered from the UK. The delivery driver told us that it had been through 4 different couriers and, at some point on it's journey, corners and sides were smashed in. The delivery driver even said that he wouldn't accept that if it was delivered to him like that.

The biggest problem with delivery is that the pallet the desk is delivered on is a lot smaller than the size of the desk. So, the desk sides go way over the length of the pallet, which leaves it wide open to warping or damage.

I wouldn't recommend ordering unless you're living close to Thomann. Definitely do not order overseas.

Returns are also a pain. Unfortunately, Thomann says it takes, on average, 3 weeks for these to be returned, so I now have to wait for the return time and then for Thomann to actually process the return.

Very disappointed.

Just what I needed!
Kevin from California 03.04.2022
I wanted to make my first home studio and needed a work station/desk. I saw this style of desk by other companies but the price was out of my reach. I found this desk at Thomann and it looked great, with a really good price. It assembled with ease and looks even better in person. It currently holds a PC tower, 42" PC Monitor/Smart TV, Studio Monitors, small Guitar Amp, Rack equipment, 49 key Keyboard Controller and still has room for growth. I am very pleased with the product and transaction!;)

10/10 with minor improvements
Roven 15.07.2022
I love how HUGE this desk is. My only gripes are the cable management tray and the pullout keyboard tray thus the 4 rating on the features.

I oriented the two big metal poles the other way around so that I can flush the desk to the wall, the cable management tray is now facing towards me. I also bought myself on amazon additional cable management trays as the tray that this desk came with for me is a joke.

Lastly the pullout keyboard tray is hitting my thighs. I bought a frame tray alternative and screwed new holes below the desk. I understand that the reasoning for this is for big keyboard/synths. But for me I need to replace this with a higher one as I use this also as my work desk where I need my chair high enough so my eyes are aligned on top of my monitor.

Other than that...10/10! Buy the Studio desk rack tray with adjustable angle btw. :)
