A good mobile controller that you want to use more often!
I am the owner of a Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3. The device is excellent, functional but not small! I was thinking about buying a mobile device for traveling. I needed all my devices to fit into a small backpack and not weigh much. Traktor Kontrol X1 MK 3 was perfect for this. I first bought one controller, tested it and was pleasantly surprised. Now I ordered a second one for playing in 4 channels! This device provokes me to play all the time :) The only disappointment is the lack of a built-in audio interface. But this problem can be solved.

Nice controller
I’ve used Traktor controllers before, but this one is a significant departure from the previous ones. The aesthetics have undergone a modernization, and the encoders are no longer touch-sensitive, which I consider a positive change because it simplifies replacing parts.
I appreciate the new mini displays and the overall feel of the controller. The USB hub is a welcome addition, as it allows me to connect multiple controllers using just one USB port on my PC. While it would have been ideal if the controller didn’t require power, relying solely on a USB-C cable, I’m overall satisfied with the features and performance of this new Traktor controller.

Very useful equipment
It gives greater control and flexibity in using effects as well as in looping. Definitely a good addition. There are multiple possibilities for usage, depends on your use case.

Had a previous models of X and Z. Bought the new X1 as a portable controller which has Z functions, but unfortunately found that use of Z functions on it is not that convenient and still requires Z1 MK2 to be in my portable setup.
Waiting for the release of Z2 MK2 for my stationary turntable/digital setup!

Easy to Bring along for djing
Its a ok upgrade from mk2, specially The search and load being The same old as The mk1. And, when used with a Sound Card, its a good mixer as well.

Perfect
The X1 MK3 itself is a fantastic controller. It's compact, responsive, and perfect for Traktor. I love the layout and the feel of the controls. I've always been an NI fan, and this doesn't disappoint. It's a great piece of kit.
