Super Midi keyboard with Aftertouch and DAW support
Martin Vrablik (Creatone) 24.01.2025
I work with it in Cubase and I have absolutely no problems with it. Before that, I also had a Nectar Lx61+, but it did not have Aftertouch and a semi-weighted keyboard. I also did not need pads and sliders, which make the keys unnecessarily deep and I do not have much space on my desk. Therefore, the GXP61, due to its small size, was a benefit for me in increasing the space on the desk. The processing could be a little better (the painted gray bottom part has started to peel, but there is gray plastic of the same color underneath so it is not very visible), but in terms of usability and functionality it is 100%. The controls for Cubase work great. I would only like hammer mechanics, even at a higher price. I was pleased that the price also included a license for Cubase and Retrologue, which I used as a discount for purchasing a higher license for Cubase and Halion. From my point of view, excellent keyboards for an excellent price.

S
Great MIDI keyboard, but........
Scoot 07.12.2021
This is a great Midi keyboard with basic functionality, usin Nectarin add some functionality when iit come to browsing sounds and things like that. The weight of the keys are very good for half weighted keyboard.

However the quality and craftmanship of the keys was bottom with sharp edges in fronts of the keys, seems like they just came out of the mould with out being polished, it was an easy fix with a 1200 sandpaper and 10 minutes of work, but still expected a better craftmanship for the price.
