Proof That Big Sound Can Come in Small, Serious-Looking Packages!
After a few weeks with the Neumann KH 120 II, I can confidently say these monitors are a joy to work with, perfect for mixing and critical listening.
The bass is tight and well-defined, with an impressive low-end extension that holds its own even without a subwoofer. It's a big step up from the original KH 120. The sound is beautifully flat and neutral, making it easy to spot mix issues without any coloration. Stereo imaging feels precise, and the natural soundstage is a pleasure to work in. The sturdy wooden cabinet with molded plastic feels solid and helps minimize resonances.
A Few Small Quirks: The rear-ported design means you’ll need to be mindful of positioning. The MA 1 tool is effective but not as advanced as some alternatives. While great for most genres, you’ll want a subwoofer for deep sub-bass-heavy tracks.

Best Monitors For Home
Using in an untreated bedroom for home use and may sound even better than my studio with MA1, excited to get another pair for my studio!

An amazing speaker
I recently got two KH120 Mark 2s, and the sound is incredible, even before calibration. If you have the MA1 calibration mic, you can make it even better. The only downside I've noticed is that they go into standby mode if left unused for more than 90 minutes, which is usually great. However, occasionally when waking them up, they emit full-volume white noise, which has happened to me twice in the past month. Although the speakers have built-in overcurrent protection and aren't damaged, the experience can be quite startling. I hope this issue is addressed in a future firmware update.

Absolute madness of quality
You get what you pay for. And oh boy, did we get a lot with these speakers...
They are (the most?) expensive in this category but they deliver the cleanest, best sound I have ever heard. There is no need for a dedicated subwoofer, these will do that perfectly well and with no distortion.
Combined with an alignment with the MA-1 microphone, we got the absolute best out of these and we still cannot believe how close these sound to a quality headset
