I use these coloured boots to help identify cables in multicore runs. I use the standard (resistor) colour code - Brown, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Grey, White.
Having these boots makes cables a lot easier to identify when problem solving at the bacl of a dark stage. Much easier than trying to read numbers on a cable sleeve.
