Fantastic quality!

I've used these for field recordings as well as conventional recordings, and they are great. If You don't have weather-sealed sockets, and don't work in super humid environments, these are the only plugs you'll ever need. Sturdy, easy to solder, cable lock system is terrific and reliable, can take a beating, what else could You want from a plug. Absolutely do recommend!

Shield issue

The external part is aluminium and is different compared to the traditional Neutrik connector. This external part shields only from RF field but not shield the 50/60Hz magnetic fields. The external aluminium part do not contact with the ground shield and does not make electrostatic shielding. Avoid this connector if you use 4 wire XLR cables (for example SC Symbioyic 3)!

Neutrik is the industrial standard and high quality XLR plugs. Perfect fit with any equipment made within spec. Complete reliability and easy to solder and assembled. Thumbs up! I think this is special Thomann version with a good colour. Brilliant.

As usual with Neutrik the quality is there, metal casing is always robust and the 70's anniversary touch makes the cables easily recognisable.
