I love it!
It works really well and the quality is great. At this new version the sleeve is a hard plastic which I prefer better than the rubber one on the old NP2X-AU. The only minor flaw on these Neutrik plugs are the soldering lugs which require a good skill on soldering due to narrow spacing. The movable metal ring may feel that it doesn't run so smooth but when plugged to the instrument it works just fine. The old version never let me down and I believe this updated version never will either.

Works like a charm
Ever since hearing about these silent plugs always wanted to try them since the unplugging sound was always very annoying and I felt like I am destroying my equipment.
I ended up buying the straight version to plug it into a Strat. I was surprised that it shorts in the unplugged position but testing it with an amp this seems to be totally fine and correct.
Installing it was fairly easy (I did wish there was a bit of an instruction so I didn't have to search online) once I figured out where each of the three pieces goes. The end plug adapts well to different cable widths which is very nice.
Compared to the REAN connector that was on my cable before, the cable is not clamped down inside the plug. Whether that's turns out to be a problem is a question for the future. Everything else on the plug seems solid.
Does it work? Absolutely. Even better than I imagined, there's no noise at all and they feel 100% like regular plugs. If they weren't so expensive I'd install them on every cable I own.

Good quality
It seems like it is of good quality. It sometimes looses connection if I accidentally move it a bit, but it may be due to my bass...I have to check with new bass when I get it.

I own several
This is great, particularly if you need to be swap between different instruments. I use this while teaching so I can swap between guitars and bass, or onstage so I can go from acoustic to electric
