Unreliable connection
illninio 29.06.2024
Had it for a few weeks now and played a couple of gigs with it.. Standing next to my board and having the signal dropping out is something I never thought would happen when I was purchasing it..πŸ₯² Completely unreliable for a bigger gig. Yesterday dropouts happened during my solos, which is completely unacceptable for a live situation in a trio band..

It's really light and comfortable to use, packed with features, but I'm definitely getting an analog device next time!

Good wireless system

Good wireless system, packed with options for a reasonable price. It has been working really well since I got it, good range and I love the fact that it has an integrated tuner and boost!

Such a pity...

Fantastic Tuner, Looks great and works great, Excellent adjustable boost function, One huge issue is the wireless signal drops out for several seconds every half hour or so making it totally unreliable.

Overpriced piece of junk with terrible support! Avoid!
redpaw 25.02.2025
Stay away from that one!
Apart from the signal drop offs mentioned by others (with the transmitter and receiver within 1-2m range in my bedroom) the design and quality is terrible. The on/off switch broke / got stuck in, after only a few months of very light use (only used it at home). You have to push and hold it to turn on/off. I was told "the on/off button was pressed too hard!" and it's not covered under warranty, so now I have a useless €300 brick.

I had my thoughts, but it turned out just fine
Ronny P 13.03.2026
As said , I have read the negative comments and I was very wart about buying it. It arrived quickly , as usual with Thomann, quality packaging.
First impressions: wow, quality. I wanted a wireless that would fit my pedalboard. The transmitter with magnets and re-chargeable batteries is just perfect. Everything looks great and has been really thought over .
No connection issues yet.
It has some usefull features, I can remove two pedals from the board and free up space for more πŸ˜ƒ.
Overall, the pedal is worth the, steep, price. But then again, it oozes build quality. If anything would go wrong, check for updates, but absolutely no problems now.

Love/hate relationship with the Nux B8
PepemlumbrerasMX 03.04.2026
After buying two Nux B8 transmitters, one for me and one for my brother, we realized almost immediately that the signals constantly interfere. They operate on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, which causes frequent signal drops. If they operated on 5.8 GHz, they could be used professionally in crowded spaces. They are attractive, with a premium feel, and their screen is even better than the one on my Nux MG30. I'd say the tuner's accuracy is a 9/10.

However, the power/mute button on both transmitters only lasted a few months before failing. The mechanism that anchors the button's plastic to the outer casing is weak and very fragile. As a result, the button ends up sinking in, making it impossible to turn the transmitters on or off accurately.
