Excellent strings. Sweet, lovely sound!
I'm yet to purchase at least five packages of this ones. They are elegant, tone-wise, sweet sounding strings with a pleasant balance between warmth and bright. Very underrated strings in comparison to the famous ernie balls, but I mind it's because only a few people tried them. String your les paul with the Optimas, and you'll have a full sound, with life, warmth, brilliance and a delightful way to play as they are very kind with your fingers. It seriously deserves a try. Give it and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Very happy, matching the gold hardware
I bought these strings for two reasons:
1. The finish matches the gold hardware on my "bling bling" guitar and makes justice to the looks.
2. Also, the golden finish gives an anti-age coating to the strings makeing the sound last bright much longer than on plain nickel strings. They wear out evenly, not sounding dull. Very good strings, no issues with durability what so ever.
Highly recommended if the looks suits on your guitar for your taste.
Sound and durability are fine.

Feels luxorious.
Looks pimp, nice feel and lasts long. Sound is a little lifeless.

The best
They were the best strings when labelled Maxima and that is still the case under the new brand name. Bags of tone, great feel and long lasting. They are also great for those of us with nickel allergies. I regularly try other strings - and always return to these for the best sound and consistent quality.
