Fantastic amplifier
The decision to buy this amp was based on videos and sound demos from the internet, after two months of playing and testing, i'm amazed, it sounds way better than in the videos. It can be loud, a lot, but still good sounding at bedroom level.
On dirt channel between the zero (full counter clockwise) and 9 o’clock on gain control the amplifier is almost silent. At 11 o'clock there is a brighter version of the clean channel, but at 12 o’clock the magic begins.
More than enough gain for rock or heavy rock music.
Small Cons:
Lovely reverb, but unfortunately without any control for reverb size or type.
Conclusion:
A tube/valve killer or not, i don't care. Fantastic amp with nice touch sensitivity and dynamic range. Such a joy to play.
Well done Orange

Expecting so much!
After reading and researching so so much, I decided to purchase the SC 100 as a change to my normal Laney and Fender tube amps. The Clean channel sounds very good, the Dirty channel just doesn't do it for me, I don't feel it, more fuzz than dirt. I have some buyers regret. If it changes, I will update this review but as of now, underwhelmed.
