Most amazing seat!
It is incredible. Very posh big seat, which is both soft and hard. Locking mechanism is solid as a rock. The sloped edges are an incredible relief for me as I teach drums and have 6-7 hour long sessions. The sharp edges of my previous throne were apparently pinching my sciatic nerves and I've been in pain for couple of years before I figured that was the reason. I want to thank Pearl for making this amazing throne. I've had it for less than a week and I already feel an improvement. It is worth every single cent. Get this throne as soon as you can, you will thank yourself every single day!

Comfy!
After playing on cheap drum stools for 40 or do years I finally decided to treat myself! Great choice. Very comfy , well made and easy height adjustment. A well made piece of gear ....wouldn't expect anything less from Pearl.

Highly recommended
The seat is very comfortable. Probably the best i 've used. The tripod and all the The throne itself is really stable. The overall workmanship and build quality is excellent. Although it's not cheap i think that it's price vs performance ratio is excellent. Higly recommended

Excellent Throne
For Almost 6 years I have owned the same budget stool that came with my first kit, and it was really starting to take a toll on my lower back. I decided that I was long overdue an upgrade. After some browsing and comparing I decided to go with the Pearl D-1500 Roadster and I honestly couldn't be happier. The seat itself is incredibly comfortable without having too much give, and the whole unit is light enough to be easily portable for gigs. As always the team at Thomann were excellent (been a customer for years and have absolutely no complaints with their delivery times, prices, or customer service). I would Highly recommend this throne to anyone looking to upgrade their own
