Pearl HPP2 Rim Saver

A must have for any drummer who wants to take care of their bass drum, we all need protection (for our hoops) and this does the job

A great product for keeping your Pearl bass drum rim neat and always in the same orientation (and can be installed on f.e. Yamaha RC, Sonor Delite…). Price is decent, I think, for the years of service it provides. The reason for stars (not 5) is the attachment screw (hard to operate as it is small, but more importantly it protrudes out and can interfere with attaching your pedal) and the provided 3M non-slip surface tape is too much like grade 80 sandpaper (a little less would do fine).

Have no idea, how to evaluate this thing) It does what it does!
If you have a pearl drumkit, pearl hardware and think "pearl" is just a cool word - don't hesitate and get this very saver and sleep well.
However, I'm pretty sure that it saves not just Pearl rims...

To protect the hoop from damage from bass drum pedal, cowbell and microphone clamp.

great little product for protecting you hoop. I use these on 2 of my vintage kits which didn't come with any protection and the time of production, after having 2 2 original gretsch round badge hoops crack on me. this is a live saver, and also help to stop to secure the pedal a little tighter to the drum.

Pearl HPP2 Rim Safer is a nice little product to prevent scratches and damage from when the bass drum pedal is attached to a wooden bass drum rim. You can add just a little more tension when attaching the pedal making it more secure.

This is a great little product for protecting your bass drum hoop against bass drum pedal scars. And cheap too. Why mess around with tape or bits of rubber when this does the job for you?

Great protection for the kick hoop. Easily applied and removed, or transferred to another drum.

Problem i have is that you have to use a tiny screw in your hoop...
