Road Ready
My gear needs to withstand airport baggage handling. So much time and effort spent on assembling the pedal board you want demand that your gear is safe and sound, fully mobile, quick to pack and unpack. The PT Classic JR TC delivers.
Pros: mighty sturdy flight case, light, but sturdy board, and the board's dimensions make it flexible and versatile.
Cons: the velcro loses its grip quick, after just a few board reshuffles, the hold is weak. PT should use higher grade and stronger velcro, or provide more with each purchase. The angle could be a little steeper, or they could try a stepped/shelf like build. Foot switches of the pedals in the top row are difficult to reach without accidentally interfering with the controls of the pedals on the lower part. TSA compatible locks would be useful as well.
The way Thomann packaged and delivered this item was outstanding. This is no small piece of gear and already quite a sturdy piece, yet the care put into the packaging, handling and posting of this item was wonderful.

Does exactly what it should!
This board holds 8 to 10 regular to mid sized stomp boxes easily. I re-configure the board sometimes depending on the gig and I find it's not much hassle. I also drilled out the board to house my power supply on the under side and it all works as it should with no issue. As long as you have the correct tools and are handy this shouldn't be a bother.
The only issue I had with this set up was with the fit of the board into the case. At the time I had a lot of pedals on and also a volume pedal. Even though none of the pedals were outside the edges of the board because the board is angled - the taller pedals would catch the case - not really a big deal but something to be aware of.
Also I didn't think the flight case would last a lot of touring. 3+ years and no issues. It's a great product and can carry enough pedals for a great guitar rig. I enjoy the compact size even if it does mean I occasionally have to swap out a pedal or 2. I'd recommend it!

Professional quality but the flight case is huge!
I was in two minds for quite some time deciding between the soft or flight cased versiobs for this sized pedal board. The case and board are both really well made but the case is so big (the height seems almost excessive). I think I'll probably end up buying the soft case version too as transporting this thing to rehearsals seems overkill and much too heavy. There isn't much space around the board when placed inside the case so packing guitar leads, power cables straps etc. still needs to be addressed, so I'll end up carrying even more! Maybe I could put them under the pedal board in the case, but then this risks disturbing the power supply fitted under my board. I think I'll buy and use the soft cased version to transport my board and use this flight case to fill and bring my cables and my D-class bass amp head!

The New Pedaltrain Classic JR TC
i have the old PT JR.
the new ones are lighter but the one i got was with a manufacturing flaw. and i've heard of others who had flaws too. the frame itself was thinner and had a noticeable crack in it. overall the older ones seem to be better made. even though they are a bit heavier and smaller. maybe i just fell upon a bad batch. and it has been fixed since then.the case itself was smaller and held the board tighter. where the older ones where oversized and had room to spare. but it ment the board could move around in the case. the new ones have no extra room and the board cant move at all, thus keeping it more secure and keeping the weight down.
thomann on the other hand were very nice and it was a pleasure dealing with them. i sent them photos and they offered me a partial refund and to keep the board. which i sold cheap and got all the money i spent on it back with the sell and refund.
as always i have to really command the customer service. it is second to none!
will definitely buy from them again!

The best pedalboard I've had to date.
Throughout my years playing guitar I have gone through endless amounts of pedalboard changes. This board is the best one I've had so far.
It is sturdy, lightweight and durable. If you have expensive pedals like I do, the tour case is a must over the soft case. It feels like it could withstand ten lifetimes on the road. The board itself is small enough to be easy to transport but also big enough for me to fit 8 pedals including a timeline and a mobius.
I highly recommend this board.

Great pedal board - Amzing case
Purchased this as I needed a slightly bigger board than the nano, so thought I'd go the whole hog and buy the hard case too. It's a great pedalboard really easy to set up and has a really super sturdy hard case. Looks well cool. Shiney! The only downside is the case is pretty heavy but it'll certainly survive any major impact
