Could be better
Anonymous 01.07.2014
The cable itself is OK, but really nothing special for the price. The signal gets compressed and some amount of highs gets lost. The connectors are very solid, but due to the fact that they are actually glued or thermoformed, it would be impossible to fix the cable if the solder inside the jack fails for some reason, or if the cable breaks and one would like to re-solder the jack to the shortened cable.
The jacks themselves are thicker on the convex part of the tip than the regular jacks, and that creates some problems if you have been using this cable on the amplifiers or guitars with a shaft-input: basically, it is very difficult to go back to regular thickness jacks, as they might fall off much easier.

Best Quality Cable Highly Recommended
Adrees Akmal 20.09.2021
Using Daddario (Planet Waves) for a very long time and must say that cable is the best in affordable price, cable is flexible & durable and work perfectly fine in Studio and Stage, prevention form heat and dust prolongs its life, better to clean it with wet cloth after every use will keep it's softness and shine and performance. It never disappointed me...

Reliable guitar cable
Bimal 29.07.2022
When I began playing guitar almost half a century ago, I had to use cheap guitar cables - I didn't have much money for a decent guitar, let alone a decent cable. But over the years, I've realised that good quality cables are crucial, whatever type of instrument you use. D'Addario cables are excellent and very reliable. I have been using this cable for decades - and it always works perfectly. What more can be said - they just work!

great leads when they are working but despite the fabled lifetime guarantee I find these leads do not last well at all especially under the duress of a touring musician , great for the studio but I wouldn't say the best for live .

Low-Budget Cable
Anonymous 08.05.2014
For me it did work fine for a couple of weeks, but then got more and more noises to the sound.
I would say it's a low-budget solution, but it doesn't last that long, maybe i just had some bad luck. still would buy it again

Not that great
Anonymous 25.01.2016
I probably wouldn't buy these again but instead I'd go for a higher quality lead. It probably lasted me 6-12 months while I was gigging quite a lot.

They may fair better for casual home use but I would definitely go higher end if you are going to be gigging etc.

Wouldn't recommend
Bjorn E. 11.03.2014
I bought 2 of these about one and a half year ago and they both broke down on me. I've always treated them with care but one day I got this cracking noise coming from my amp and my signal kept dying every 10 minutes.
Also the sound quality isn't that great, I bought some replacement cables for these with a giltet jack and I can really hear the difference in sound quality.

Best Value cables
Anonymous 01.12.2014
These cables are great for the money. I find I cant tell the difference between these and higher end cables. I've gigged with them for a number of years and they seem really robust, I've never had one fail
