At this price the RecordMaster II is an absolute steal, around half its 2022 price (when it was current)
Some have commented that it is an entry level budget turntable. This however, could not be further than the truth. The Debut E, certainly, but the RecordMaster II is a true audiophile platform, and modders delight.
Out of the box, using the the built in phono stage, it sounds big, with the OM5E revealing plenty of detail and wonderful stereo separation. With some upgrades however, namely, a decent mat, some isolation and the OM20 (Oohhh), and an outboard phono pre, I believe it will truly sing.
I thought that making up a decent interconnect would be my first mod, but I was delighted to see it came with the Connect It, a very good quality directional affair!
Bravo Pro-Ject, and bravo Thomann for securing this new old stock 👏🏼

Budget and user friendly turntable

Received the turntable 2 hours ago, so far i'm very satisfied. Hard to compare to other turntables, because before i had an old kinda damaged USSR turntable which sometimes skipped some parts on records.
