It works for the price, but...
Ray97 08.07.2017
I bought this cable together with my first pedals to connect from guitar to the pedals (used another cable that I already had for pedal -> amp). The length was also appealing as I know the struggles of using a 3m cable on stage.

The cable is very affordable compared to for example Fender cables. However the price reflects the quality - while I didn't find anything wrong with the signal (interference, hum, etc), the angled jack started malfunctioning after about a month of use and often wouldn't connect properly. At times it seemed that the problem was gone, but it kept coming back more and more regularly. By now I've replaced it with a higher quality one and I'm just keeping this one as a spare just in case.

Pros:
Very affordable

Cons:
Unreliable

A
great lead
Anonymous 31.07.2015
i wanted a guitar lead with an angled connector to plug into my guitars. i have used sssnake leads before and i have been happy with their quality and sound. this lead follows this, and it also comes with a velcro tie so that when you coil it up it doesn't become tangled. i wish they would sell these ties separately as i would use them on all my leads.
i would most defiantly buy another one of these and i would recommend these leads for the cost i think they are exceptional value for money and i would rate them 5/5 because of this.

update: quality issues

used this for about a month now and had problems with sound dropping out from my guitar, turns out that the wiring in the angled end is faulty. really disappointed in this lead now using my old one.

It's Okay...

Low price, affordable and if we relate to quality it is just fine.
I would advise this cable quality only for a gentle use at home. If using it in your room, it's fine, but for heavier stuff like a garage, stage and so on seems to me it wouldn't survive that long. The weakest point is the plugs, every time I plug it to my instruments and unplug it, it feels like the jack is loose and a bit screwed out from the housing cap. Anyway, this is not a big problem, you just have to adjust it/tighten it every once in a while.
The cable does its job and price is friendly.
For costumers outside Europe, I advise shipping with UPS over DHL. UPS keeps control and safety of your parcel during the customs process, it is faster, trustable and they deliver to your door.

P
a snake that coils around itself.
Pouet17 23.04.2023
I bought this lead for my home studio. I got the 6 m version so I could walk around a bit but, when you do the cord tangles around itself very quickly. You have to unplug it and and unravel it. It's got some built-in twistiness which is not good. Also the angled jack had some wire strands loose which were causing it to cut out. I had to put some electrician's tape between the wires. (too lazy to re-solder properly). I have the three-meter version version with straight jacks and have none of these issues.

Above average at minimum price

Bought it for rehearsal purposes at my studio. It is as good as some more expensive cables. The plugs are well made and can endure the misuse. No sound interference or whatsoever.

Decent quality, low noise for fixed studio instillation
Emlyn KH 08.01.2024
Used for a long unbalanced run from a mixer into an audio device across a studio floor.

Plugs feel solid enough to set and forget. Maybe a little fragile for heavy live use, so for that consider upgrading to a stronger plug.

No noticeable signal noise that I can hear between the devices, which for a 5m unbalanced cable run crossing a bunch of power cables is pretty good.

Use it sparingly
Parrotica 14.11.2020
This cable sounds great, but it is quite thin, so it is easy to rip, and it can start crackling because it has not been reinforced with cloth or thicker rubber. The ends of the wires just wear out quickly with intense use.

I let my 7 year old use this and the heavy duty angled jack plugged into the bottom of the guitar holds up great and avoids the guitar jack or cable getting bent and broken. Very happy with the purchase after a few uses.

One end of the cable did not work. Thomann gave me a refund but avoid this cable like the plague.
