Dieser Koffer für Mundstücke ist , wie von protec gewohnt, hochwertig und sauber verarbeitet und schützt seinen Inhalt gut. Praktisch ist auch die im Deckel liegende Tasche, die mehrere Blättchenfächer aufweist.
Nun aber zum Nachteil. Ich benutze ganz gewöhnliche Yamaha-Mundstücke und für die sind die vorgesehenen Aussparungen, in die man die Mundstücke legen soll, eigentlich deutlich zu eng. Das gilt sowohl für Tenor-, Sopransaxophon- wie auch Klarinettenmundstücke. Da das Innenmaterial (in Grenzen) flexibel ist, geht es mit dem hineinlegen (besser -pressen) so. Ideal finde ich das nicht. In Ermangelung eines anderen Koffers, der so viele Mundstücke aufnehmen kann, fehlt es aber derzeit an einer Alternative.

Das Etui mit Platz für 10 Mundstücke macht einen recht stabilen Eindruck. Ich verwende es für Klarinettenmundstücke, für die im Etui des Instruments selbst nicht mehr der Platz ist. Zudem eignet es sich sehr gut für die weiteren Kleinteile (Blätter, Wischer, Korkfett, Stimmgerät ...) die sonst mehr oder weniger lose und störend im Instrumentenkoffer mitverstaut werden müssten. Besonders angetan bin ich von der beiliegenden separaten Tasche, mit der man zusätzlich für Ordnung sorgen kann. Bedenken sollte man allerdings, dass der Behälter nicht gerade atmungsaktiv wirkt. Daher ist es sicher angebracht, ihn gelegentlich auch zu "lüften".
