No more muffling inside a bass drum? Wow!

Great to see this innovation also on Remo heads. Recently converted a 16" floor tom to a bass drum not planning to cut a porting hole and aiming for more open / jazzy sound so I decided to try this head to eliminate the need of internal dampening. This head did the trick for my objective. Removing / inserting the dampening ring is a quick process.
