Add a zone to an existing system
The RF PA Extension Receiver is a single add-on receiver for sites already running the RF PA Extension Kit or 8-Pack. One unit adds one new zone – the receiver tunes to the existing transmitter and outputs line-level audio to whichever satellite speaker, amplifier, or feed it's pointed at, without touching the rest of the rig. Useful especially when a deployment grows after the fact: a foyer that wasn't in the original plan, an outdoor break-out area added to a recurring event, a delay-fill speaker called for during tech rehearsal. The receiver picks up the same analogue FM stereo audio in the 470–506MHz UHF band the parent system is already broadcasting, so adding one is a tuning task rather than a re-engineering task.
Same receiver as the kits
The RX4 is the same single-channel receiver shipped in the Kit and 8-Pack – True Diversity reception, LCD readout for group/channel/antenna A-B, RF and AF metering, and onboard delay up to 800ms for time-aligning a satellite speaker with the main PA. Output is selectable between the stereo mix or either of the two mono channels carried by the transmitter, so a new receiver can join an existing dual-zone deployment as either a third copy of zone A, a copy of zone B, or a stereo feed in its own right. The receiver runs on 12V DC and outputs balanced mini-XLR at line or mic level into a powered speaker, mixer return, or amplifier input. Pilot-tone muting keeps the output silent if the carrier drops, avoiding open-channel noise during a quiet passage. At 365×70×30mm and 454g, the receiver fits the same mounting points as the units already on site.
Designed for expansion
The RF PA Extension Receiver is for operators whose deployments grow beyond their original two- or eight-zone footprint – installation contractors handling change orders, event companies whose recurring shows pick up new spaces year on year, and houses of worship adding overflow rooms. Tuning is a front-panel task on the receiver itself, taking a couple of minutes per unit, and the existing transmitter doesn't need to be reconfigured. The practical limitation to keep in mind: The transmitter remote-syncs the first five receivers it pairs with, and any added beyond that are tuned at the receiver – not a deal-breaker, but channel selection becomes more deliberate as the receiver count grows. For new deployments rather than expansions, the Kit and 8-Pack bundle the transmitter with two or eight receivers respectively.

Drop in, dial up, and go
The receiver ships with a 12V DC power supply, a mini-XLR female to XLR male cable, and hook-and-loop tape with mounting screws that attach directly to the loudspeaker cabinet. Mounting on a powered speaker, plugging in the supplied PSU, and tuning to the transmitter's group and channel takes a few minutes per unit, with no software, no app, and no IT involvement. The IP54 rating handles dust and splashing water, so the same receiver moves between an indoor breakout room and an outdoor patio without a second unit being bought for the weather. One receiver for one new zone, no reconfiguration required.
