Well designed space saver connector!

This connector is amazing! it is well built and save so much space on the pedalboard. Yes, you can use a short flat patch cable with similar results but this connector leaves no excess cable to mess up and cross-talk with power cables, etc.

The ability to slide makes it easy to connect two pedals with lateral jacks even from different makers, angles, or heights. Contrary to the other options I tried which only solve the problem in specific conditions.
If I compare it to the Planet Waves connector (please see my review on this product) I would say it is probably less robust but it is more versatile and takes way less space than the PW which is very bulky.

pros:
- extreme versatile connector
- good quality
- space saver

cons:
- It is not really any cons but I have to mention that besides the apparent good quality, I am not sure how robust the connector is if you keep changing pedals and heights of the slider. So far so good!

I had second thoughts before buying it but it has been nothing but good, sturdy and very useful. High quality and a genius system of connecting two pedals, but you do have to be careful when using it on pedalboards with strong velcro tape to not jerk too much when pulling of the pedals. I have had no issues.

Very nice adapter, useful if you have some pedals very close one to the other. One of the 2 jacks slides so you can use it to match the position, even if within the limit of the size of the adapter.

Snap, crackle, and pop

Worked great at first on a compact board I was using. After a handful of gigs, I was getting snaps and pops, probably from the mechanical stress of pressing on pedals and bending these slightly – whatever it was, going back to normal flat patch cables solved it.

Gets a clean look, but not a clean sound. Wouldn't buy again.

I use this to hook up two pedals with the jack at different heights. Works perfectly and feels solid. Also looks and feels tidier than a patch cable if you need the pedals to be clos together.

I see many negative reviews for this product, but IMHO, the build is solid and it is so better to have this thing than any other connector from the Rockboard. This one can slide and change it's length so I highly recommend it!
