It works, but needs to be smoothed first
Alex<randomInteger> 09.01.2022
First impressions:
- It's thin. On the product photos it looks much thicker, maybe 1.5mm. In fact, it's 0.6 mm thick, just a little bit more than Rock'n'Ruler.
- The edges are not smooth. I had to file them carefully before I dared to put it on the frets of my guitar.

Usage:
After polishing it a bit, I used it on my bass to locate popped frets and fix them. It worked well, did what it should. So the thickness wasn't an issue after all, but I expected to see and feel a different tool.

Conclusions:
It's a useful tool to check your frets quickly, it does the job. But I feel it doesn't stand up to the proud names of Warwick and Framus engraved on it.

In my opinion, neither a tape measure nor a rocker :) rocker would have to be thicker, at least these 2-3mm. while measuring tape for spacers nice how they have painted rectangles with standard heights, then it is easier to quickly distinguish at what height is the string than counting dashes

Edges aren't straigt
Wocky 24.03.2019
Worthless peace of metal.
It is pressed out a bigger sheet of metal, and therefore the edges arent 100% straight but curved.
Don't buy this... unless you have tools to make it straight again...
I tried sanding it straigt on a machined flat surface.. but because it is a manual operation... and a small peace of metal.. you cant get it done... you must machine this perfectly straight...
Now I used blade from a toolnife.. I think they are lasercut.. and thus pretty straight...

A handy tool to have if you're buying used or online (or doing home setups)
Jernej V. 06.02.2021
Going by ear isn't always the best bet to find flaws in fret work, This is where the fret rocker comes in. The product is well designed, does exactly what it says it does and works on bass and guitar. With the help of this tool you can remove the guesswork when doing setup at home. The measuring scales come in especially handy.

CON: None
PRO: It does what it says it does. And it does it well.

I highly recommend the product to all guitar owners.

Good all round.
MacGee 10.09.2022
I was suspicious of cheap guitar tools and took a chance on this fret rocker.
Pleasantly surprised with the all round good quality.
Most importantly the edges are dead straight as I checked with a precise ruler. The edges are neat and finished well smooth and not rough.
The measurement printing of the text is also neat and perfect. And lastly the edge spacings fit all my guitar fretboard.
So 4 stars because it ticks all my boxes and a fifth star for good quality and low price.
Highly recommended.

Does the job nicely
Sævar 03.11.2020
This thing is not expensive, but feels solid and does what is claims to do.
I guess there are more expensive fret rockers out there for the professional luthiers, but at least one I got has perfectly straight edges and does the job nicely.

Good and straight but feels a bity flimsy
ReneJ33 16.08.2022
Good cheap fret rocker. Unlike other reviewers, mine was completely straight. Works great. I can't handle getting dropped on the floor a lot, because this will bend it slightly. But it's cheap, so that's to be expected.

Get it to find flaws on your frets and file them, and just remember to put it back in the envolope it comes in, and don't toss it in with a bunch of other metal tools when you're done.

Essential Tool
Kwall71 08.08.2020
Nice solid useful tool for measuring your action and identifying any high frets. The sides are straight and the 5 different length sides should accommodate any fretboard.

It'll do the job
Spike 350 25.03.2019
As a fret rocker this is a great little tool with edges of varying lengths it allows you to check from the nut to the 22nd fret. It has a metric measuring scale on one side and Imperial measurements on the other. I must admit that when checking the height of the action on my guitar it is not as easy as that of another manufacturer where they use blocks of ink at different heights which is far easier for the eye to see than increments of a millimetre or lines marked at one sixtyfourth intervals. There again, its job description is that of a Fret Rocker Fret Levelling tool, not a guitar set up gauge so maybe I'm being a bit fussy.
